Respite Weekends

During the non-summer season, RMV provides R&R weekends. Campers come to Rocky Mountain Village to get away and relax, giving their families a short break from caregiving.

2026 Respite Weekend Dates

  • March 20 – 22: Lucky Moments Getaway (Ages 21 and up) - Roll the dice and join us for a weekend of fun and relaxation at RMV’s casino-themed respite! Try your luck with exciting games, enjoy a festive dinner, and dance the night away in a vibrant, Vegas-inspired atmosphere. It’s your time to shine and savor some lucky moments! 
     
  • November 13 – 15: Ladies Slumber Party (Ages 6 and up) - Grab your pajamas and join us for a weekend of fun, friendship, and relaxation at RMV’s Girls Slumber Party! This special weekend includes cozy crafts, movie nights, spa activities, and lots of laughs. It’s the perfect chance to unwind and make unforgettable memories with friends! 
     
  • November 20 – 22: Superhero Adventure Respite Weekend for Down Syndrome: (Ages 6 and up) - Calling all superheroes! Join us at RMV for a weekend designed just for campers with Down Syndrome. It’s time to suit up and enjoy superhero-themed crafts, games, and adventures. From obstacle courses to heroic dance-offs and a costume party, this weekend is all about celebrating your superpowers while making new friends and unforgettable memories!
     
  • December 18 – 20: Holiday in The Mountains (Ages 6 and up) - Sit by the fire, make cookies, get into some awesome holiday crafts, sing, dance, and play lots of silly holiday-themed games!
