Easterseals Colorado is a leader in providing comprehensive, family-centered services for individuals on the autism spectrum through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).

Overview

ABA is the most commonly effective treatment for Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), helping children develop skills to respond more effectively to their environment. While it does not cure ASD, it significantly improves the ability to communicate and engage socially. Autism is a spectrum disorder, meaning each individual has unique strengths and challenges, which families and clinical teams work together to identify. ABA uses evidence-based techniques, such as positive reinforcement and task analysis, to increase skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
