Our Programs
- In-Home:
- Home programs that involve the family—because family support is a big part of success. An important part of our ABA program is training family members and caregivers on how to assist in the client’s program during and after sessions.
- At Easterseals, we walk alongside your family throughout your journey with ongoing support, education, and connection. Our team provides high-quality, engaging training for caregivers to help them understand their child's diagnosis and learn ways to best support their child. Through ongoing assessments and caregiver input, we create individualized plans to meet the developmental goals of the child and support the whole family.
- 1:1: Clients work individually with a behavior technician in the home
- Caregiver-Led Model: Parents and caregivers learn the basics of ABA via coaching from a highly skilled team in order to implement ABA programming with their child.
- Clinic-Based:
- 1:1 – Clients meet individually with a practitioner.
- Group – Two or more clients meet with one or more staff members to improve their cognitive and social skills. These group sessions are focused on teaching and reinforcing social skills development through structured social skill building activities.
Program Components
- Assessment: We use a formal assessment methodology to guide the development of a client’s behavior program. This assessment occurs before treatment begins and is ongoing throughout the client’s program to determine treatment effectiveness and whether the client’s goals are being met.
- Treatment: Clients receive an individualized treatment plan developed by a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA). The treatment plan is based on the initial ABA assessment and ongoing reassessments throughout the term of the plan. Our BCBAs help families understand their client's development while designing goals and interventions that embrace their client's unique interests.
- Data on a client’s skill acquisition and behavior is recorded and analyzed regularly.
