AgrAbility, Project,  Lakewood Colorado

What is AgrAbility?

Colorado AgrAbility is a partnership between Colorado State University Cooperative Extension and Easter Seals Colorado.  Our Goal is to maximize independence of farmers, ranchers, and their families who are facing new obstacles due to injury, illness, or disability by providing services, information, and education.

All of Colorado AgrAbility services are free to individuals.  We cannot provide goods or financial support; however, our staff will explore and assist with every possible option to help our clients reach their goals and continue to do the work they love.  Colorado AgrAbility would like to help farmers, ranchers, and their families work smarter not harder.

Whatever the challenges facing Colorado’s farmers and ranchers, at Colorado AgrAbility we provide the support to help people determine and meet their goals.  Click here to read about Colorado AgrAbility success stories.

What does AgrAbility do?

Assistive Technology

  • On-site agricultural work site and task analysis
  • Recommendations for equipment adaptations, home modifications, and adaptive devices such as lifts and driving aids

Colorado AgrAbility does not have funds to purchase Assistive Technology.  We will, however, attempt to locate Assistive Technology funding sources.
