Honorees, Plante Moran and Michael and Amy Drennen, will both receive the prestigious Jake Jabs Community Impact Award. The award – named in honor of American Furniture Warehouse founder Jake Jabs – acknowledges those helping lead the way in Colorado to create a world where everyone, regardless of age or ability, is 100 percent included and 100 percent empowered. They embody the same commitment and passion that Jake Jabs has demonstrated over his many years of involvement with Easterseals Colorado.
The Season of Lights Gala will be held at Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center this year on December 9, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m., and features the John Adams Band. The gala is ESC’s single largest fundraising event of the year, with 89 cents of every dollar raised going directly back to the people and programs that ESC supports. A full 100% of the donations raised stays in Colorado to support local Coloradans with disabilities and their families.
